DOM GEM | HIGHLAND VILLAGE FERRARI FESTIVAL

HIGHLAND VILLAGE FERRARI FESTIVAL

CLIENT

  • Highland Village is an upscale, mixed-use, shopping center on Westheimer Road in Houston, Texas.

GOALS & OBJECTIVES

  • Introduce Highland Village and Valobra to new audiences through a creative activation
  • Position Highland Village as a leader in the philanthropic community
  • Drive traffic to and increase sales for Highland Village, Valobra and other Highland Village retailers

CHALLENGES

  • While many Highland Village retailers host events, Highland Village had no established “center” branded activations
  • Finding ways to involve current tenants in the event
  • Creatively position Valobra Jewelers as the preferred and premier jewelry destination

SUCCESS METRICS

  • To kick off the holiday shopping season, Dom Gem created, executed and branded the Highland Village Ferrari Festival in Houston, Texas. Through a partnership with the Ferrari Club of Houston, members of the club were invited to display their Ferrari’s at Highland Village during a three-hour, family-friendly, Sunday afternoon activation at Highland Village. The much-anticipated event benefited Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
  • Dozens of Ferraris were showcased in the elegant setting of Highland Village
  • Thousands of sightseers perused the Ferrari display, frequented Highland Village shops and dined at Highland Village restaurants
  • Valobra Jewelers hosted a pre-reception for all Ferrari owners displaying cars, and Dom Gem worked with Highland Village retailers to create a special Ferrari Festival activation in stores
  • Our agency worked with Highland Village restaurants Escalante’s, RA Sushi and PF Chang’s to create beautiful food stations in the Highland Village parking lot
  • Funds raised through the car display entry benefited Texas Children’s Cancer Center, helping position Highland Village as a leader in the philanthropic community
  • Highland Village salon owner, Michael Kemper teamed up with KTRK-TV ABC 13’s Rebecca Spera to host the event
  • The event was covered by many of the top Houston media outlets and promoted throughout Highland Village, Highland Village retailers, Ferrari Club of Houston and Texas Children’s Cancer Center
